Independence Day in Ukraine

On August 24 citizens and guests of the country celebrate Independence Day. There are concerts and appearance of public persons, expositions of works of artists, potters, embroiderers on the central squares of cities and towns. Citizens lay flowers in front of the memorials dedicated to the fighters for Ukraine's freedom. Holiday is completed with the enchanting salute.
