The square of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic Was is located in the Pecherskiy districtin Kiev, between the Drujby Narodiv Boulevard, Staronavodnitska and Lavrska Streets. As a square it was created in XX xentury and had a different name – Navodnitska – the current name appeared in 1975. Near the square you can find the Pechersk Landscape Park and the National Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
