The Pobeda Park (The Victory Park) |

The Pobeda Park is located in Dneprovskiy district in Kiev and is dedicated to the USSR’s victory in World War II. It is located not far from the metro station Darnitsa. The park was founded in 1965 and was replanned in 2008. The territory of the park is 82,61hectares. The park includes the forest territories with park alleys, artificial lake with arched bridges and an island, rides, sport grounds and indoor skating rink. On the main alley of the park you can see the Barrow of Immortality opened in 1967 to honor heroes who died during the World War II.
