The park is located in Darnitsa district of Kiev. It is one of the park that are included into the number of parks-monuments of park-art of local significance. The park was founded in 1963. The park was called in honor of soviet armoured train “Tarashchenets”. In the park you can see the monument to that armoured train. There are alleys with banches that lead from the monument to the heart of the park.
