The Nijnyi Val is a street in Podol district in Kiev. It is connected to the Verkhniy Val Street by an alley. The remains of the mansions of X-XI centuries are found there (wooden sidewalks for example). The catholic bishop used to have his mansion on this street when these territories were under the rule of Polish Empire. Then in XVII century after the war the territory was seeded to the Kiev Metropolis. Current buildings date back to the XIX-XX centuries.
