Jellyfish Museum in Kiev

From the recent time residents and guests of the capital of Ukraine have the opportunity to visit the museum of alive jellyfish from the world ocean. The museum features many types of jellyfish from all over the world.

Among the jellyfish, there is even a representative of the genus of the immortal creatures in the museum – Turritopsis. Individuals of this species turn into polyps, reaching maturity.

The organizers report that the jellyfish in the museum will constantly change because the life cycle of many of them is quite short. It is unknown only whether the immortal jellyfish will be an exhibit on a permanent basis.

Opening hours: 10:00-20:00.

Entrance fee: for adults – 165-180 UAH, for children – 95-110 UAH, up to 5 years – free.
