The Lesi Ukrainki Boulevard

The Lesi Ukrainki Boulevard is a street in Pecherskiy district in Kiev. It is located near the junction of Basseinaya, Shelkovitchnaya, Hopitalnaya streets and Metchnikova, up to the Boulevard of DryjbuNarodiv. The near-by streets are: Nemirovitcha-Dantchenko, Kutuzova, Kudri, Kurganovskaya, Verkhniaya, Shchorssa, LessiUkrainki square, Priymatchenko Boulevard. The PecherskiyBridge connects the LessiUkrainki Boulevard with Bastionna and Kikvidze Streets. This Boulevard was created in 1950s as a result of construction works that were performed while building houses on the free territories. First it had the name the PecherskBoulevard 1958-1961. The current name was attributed to this Boulevard in 1961.
